Immaculate Nakalembe

Postdoctoral studies with SIDA support, courtesy of the Directorate of the Graduate School, Makerere University. Postdoctoral research aims at contributing towards sustainable household food security and increased household incomes in beneficiary communities by developing, disseminating and adopting mushroom production technology. The project will culminate in the development of natural products to be put on market to address malnutrition, food security and household incomes. Currently working on a proposal on innovations in gender equality through the promotion of mushroom production, post-harvest handling, value addition and marketing.
